Today, the Lumix Festiva<\/a>l released the projects that will be shown at the festival this year: 60 printed stories and 22 mulitmedia stories.<\/p>\n

Among the names were five students and student projects from DMJX:<\/p>\n

Sara Galbiati<\/a>, who graduated in 2010, will exhibit her final BA project Lucha Libre<\/a> about Mexican wrestling culture.<\/p>\n

Fara Phoebe Zetzsche, international student from Germany, will exhibit her project Hoard and Clutter<\/em> about a family with 12 children, who collects so many things that it’s considered a desease. Fara has worked on the project for some years and has during her study this year added new work to the story.<\/p>\n

Asbjørn Sand<\/a>, who is in his final year, will exhibit his project Roll Whatever<\/em><\/a> about skateboarders.<\/p>\n

Tobias Nørgaard Pedersen, who is also in his final year, will exhibit his 7th semester project The PlayStation Proletariat<\/em> about a group of young men not finishing an education. Tobias also won first prize at the Danish POY<\/a> with this project.<\/p>\n

Jonas Opperskalski<\/a>, international student from Germany, will show his multimedia story about a Roma family who, after living eight months with no residence permit and in constant fear of deportation, decide to return to Macedonia of their own accord. Jonas made this story as his reportage project at the school last year.<\/p>\n

Two former students have also been selected for the exhibition: Mads Nissen with two stories and Antonia Zennaro.<\/p>\n

The pre-jury chose the projects among around 1,300 submissions from 77 countries.<\/p>\n

All stories will be exhibited at The Lumix Festival in Hannover in June. From the stories a jury will select some winners and of course the main prize: The Freelens Award. Søren Pagter will be in this jury.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
