<\/p>\nAt the award ceremony for the Danish POY at The National Library in Copenhagen today three students were awarded a first prize and additional three students won honorable second prizes.<\/p>\n

Tobias Nørgaard Pedersen won first prize in the category Reportage, Denmar<\/em>k for a story about the PlayStation Proletariat, a group of young men not finishing an education.<\/p>\n You can see the story “De vilde drenge” below.<\/p>\n Liv Høybye Jeppesen and Magnus Holm were awarded first prize in Multimedia of the Year<\/em> for the online production Claus & Katrine made on the 3rd<\/sup> semester.<\/p>\n You can see the winning multimedia Claus og Katrine here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Christian Klindt Sølbeck won second prize in Open Category<\/em> for a series about rush hour traffic in Dhaka, Bangladesh.<\/p>\n Dennis Lehmann won second prize in the category Danish Everyday Life<\/em> for a photo from Lundtoftegade in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n Jeppe Bøje Nielsen won a second price in Sports, Reportage<\/em> for a picture of the Danish racecar driver Tom Kristensen.<\/p>\n We are very proud and congratulate them.<\/p>\n You can see the students’ winning images and read the comments from the jury here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
