Last week was hectic and inspiring with a lot of guests and lectures at the school.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday our own international student, Ahmed Hayman from Egypt, gave a lecture about his coverage  of the events in Cairo in February. Since Ahmed has worked as a  photojournalist both before and after the changes in Egypt, this lecture  gave a great insight in the country and the working conditions for  reporters in Egypt. Around 80 people attended this lecture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/photo-dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"293\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: Ahmed Hayman<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday freelance photographers <a href=\"http:\/\/bubandt.com\/\">Martin Bubandt<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dittevalente.dk\/\">Ditte Valente<\/a> (also a  representative from the Press photographers association) gave a lecture  about life after school &#8211; how to start your own business. Students from  7th and 8th semester attended this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Monday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mclight.com\/\">Mimi Chakarowa<\/a> gave a lecture about her prize winning project, <a href=\"http:\/\/priceofsex.org\/\">The Price of Sex<\/a>. Mimi will shows the documentary again today (Monday the 28th) at 3.30pm in the Big Auditorium. Mimi was also teaching our 2nd and 8th term students.<\/p>\n<p>In the same week we&#8217;ve had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentklich.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kent Klich<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/marcusbleasdale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marcus Bleasdale<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sigridnygaard.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sigrid Nygaard<\/a> teaching at different courses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a great week!
