{"id":2443,"date":"2018-10-28T22:56:59","date_gmt":"2018-10-28T21:56:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/photo-dmjx.dk\/?p=2443"},"modified":"2020-12-16T15:18:33","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T14:18:33","slug":"deepti-asthana-and-mushfiq-mahbub-turjo-receive-grants-to-study-at-dmjx-in-the-spring-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/index.php\/2018\/10\/28\/deepti-asthana-and-mushfiq-mahbub-turjo-receive-grants-to-study-at-dmjx-in-the-spring-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Deepti Asthana and Mushfiq Mahbub Turjo receive grants to study at DMJX in the spring 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deeptiasthana.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deepti Asthana<\/a> from India receive The Alexandra Boulat Grant and <a href=\"https:\/\/mushfiqturjo.wixsite.com\/turjo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mushfiq Mahbub Turjo<\/a> from Bangladesh receive The Shahidul Alam Grant to study at our Photo I program in the spring 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all the 25 highly qualified photographers from 10 different countries, who applied for the two scholarships funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/theviifoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VII Foundation<\/a>. It was a difficult job to choose, who were the most qualified to receive the two grants.<\/p>\n<p>The Alexandra Boulat Grant is given in remembrance of the late, prize winning French photographer, who was a member and co-founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/viiphoto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VII Photo Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Shahidul Alam Grant is given in honour of the great importance Shahidul Alam has for the development of independent photojournalism in the World.<\/p>\n<p>Both grants include accommodation, tuition fee and some pocket money.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Deepti and Muhammad &#8211; we&#8217;re looking forwrd to seeing you in Denmark.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce that Deepti Asthana from India receive The Alexandra Boulat Grant and Mushfiq Mahbub Turjo from Bangladesh receive The Shahidul Alam Grant to study at our Photo I program in the spring 2019.
