The brand new festival, which is arranged by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.photopiacairo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Photopia<\/a>, runs from the 22. till the 30. of November. The festival focusses on all kinds of photography and will have workshops, lectures, exhibitions, portfolio reviews etc.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2696 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/CairoPhotoWeek.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1052\" \/><\/p>\n<p>S\u00f8ren Pagter will be at part of Cairo Photo Week, where he will run a five-day workshop in viusual storytelling for documentary photographers. The workshop is partly funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dedi.org.eg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DEDI<\/a>, the Danish Egyptian Dialougue Institute, where S\u00f8ren Pagter also will hold a lecture about Danish photojournalism.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2697 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Cairo_workshop.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1052\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, S\u00f8ren Pagter will work with ten Egyptian photographers, who bring their stories to the workshop. The participants and S\u00f8ren Pagter will edit the work together. S\u00f8ren Pagter will also teach about editing and storytelling in pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Next week, S\u00f8ren Pagter will also visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aucegypt.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AUC<\/a>, the American Univerisity in Cairo, which is a DMJX partner school.
