Mikkel H\u00f8rlyck<\/a> received first prize for his project “The Neglected” in the Homework category at\u00a0the 12th International Festival of Photojournalism Vilnius Photo Circle, when the festival was held in Lithuania this weekend. “The Neglected” was made while Mikkel was studying at his third term at DMJX in the fall 2016.<\/p>\n

Mikkel H\u00f8rlyck won in the category for photographers below 30 years of age. The competition, which is a part of the festival, has two categories; one for photographers below 30 years and one for photographers over 30 years.<\/p>\n

Two other DMJX-students were nominated in the Homework category for photographers below 30 years;<\/p>\n

Nanna Navntoft<\/a> was nominated for her project about Binge Eating Disorder.<\/a><\/p>\n

Allison Hess<\/a> was nominated for her project “A Light in the Dark”<\/a> about Alzheimer’s disease.<\/p>\n

All three DMJX-students participated in the festival, where they gave talks and showed their work.<\/p>\n
