Photo: S\u00f8ren Pagter.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>George Azar is an award-winning photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, who has covered the Middle East since 1981<em>. <\/em>His photographs have appeared on the front pages of the New York Times and other leading publications. Azar is author of the book <em>Palestine, A Photographic Journey. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, George Azar serves as \u2018Photojournalist-in-Residence.\u2019 at our partner school the American University of Beirut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his visit at DMJX, Geroge Azar showed and talked about his award winning video documentary <em>Gaza Fixer <\/em>for various groups of students.
