{"id":3227,"date":"2019-08-05T11:32:25","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T09:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/?p=3227"},"modified":"2019-08-05T11:32:26","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T09:32:26","slug":"dmjx-runs-a-series-of-workshops-in-cairo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/index.php\/2019\/08\/05\/dmjx-runs-a-series-of-workshops-in-cairo\/","title":{"rendered":"DMJX runs a series of workshops in Cairo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>DMJX photojournalism has created an educational programme consisting of four different workshops, which will run this autumn and in the spring 2020 in Cairo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"872\" height=\"873\" src=\"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/KSOY2661.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3228\"\/><figcaption><em>S\u00f8ren Pagter held a workshop at Cairo Photo Week in November 2018. <br>In September 2019 he&#8217;ll be back to run the first of four DMJX workshops in Cairo. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In co-operation with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Photopia (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.photopiacairo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Photopia<\/a> and with financial support from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"DEDI, the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dedi.org.eg\/\" target=\"_blank\">DEDI, the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Initiative<\/a>, DMJX photojournalism will organize an educational programme for Egyptian photographers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first workshop will be run by S\u00f8ren Pagter in September 2019, then Mads Greve will run a portrait workshop in November 2019 and Gitte Luk will run a worksshop in journalistic writing in January 2020.
