Mads Greve is in Cairo this week to conduct the second of the series of four workshops for a selected group of Egyptian photographers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mads Greve started a portrait workshop this Tuesday at the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute. The five-day workshop is the second in a series of four workshops for a group of 12 Egyptian photographers. Photo: Sabry Mohamed<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The workshops are made in co-operation with Photopia<\/a> and with financial support from DEDI, the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Initiative<\/a>. The first workshop was held by S\u00f8ren Pagter at Photopia. The coming workshop will be held in January and will focus on journalistic writing. DMJX teacher, Gitte Luk, will run this workshop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the period between January and June 2020, the 12 participants will make individual visual projects. In June, S\u00f8ren Pagter will be back in Cairo to edit the photographers’ stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
