Seven DMJX-students were among the 17 nominated photographers. The DMJX students won three first prizes and six second prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Foreign Reportage<\/strong><br>Second prize &#8211; Rikke Kj\u00e6r Poulsen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1067\" height=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/09B_8_Reportage_Udland.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4552\"\/><figcaption><em>When the tourits have went home, Stella sneaks away to the beach. Julie&#8217;s father is seriously ill and she finds it difficult to let go and fall asleep. &#8220;It&#8217;s like having ten noisy radios turned on at the same time&#8221;. Every fourth young person in Denmark find it difficult to fall asleep. The portrait series tells about five young people, who all suffer from insomnia.<br>Picture from the portrait series &#8220;Sleepless&#8221; made by Liv M\u00f8ller Kastrup during her third term at DMJX. The series won second prize in the portrait series category at the Danish POY 2020. As an addition to the exhibition, the jury also selected 33 pictures that will be a part of the touring exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight students were selected to show single images at the exhibition. The students are: Katrine Noer, Liv M\u00f8ller Kastrup, Louise Herrche Serup, Andreas Vinther, Mathioas Eis Schultz, Aleksander Gavriel Klug-Graf, Mikkel H\u00f8rlyck and Andreas Haubjerg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday the 7th of May, the winners of the Danish POY 2020 were announced at the award ceremony at The National Library in Copenhagen.
