{"id":493,"date":"2018-02-22T11:33:00","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T11:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/photo-dmjx.dk\/index.php\/2018\/02\/22\/two-dmjx-students-selected-for-the-lumix-festival\/"},"modified":"2018-02-22T11:33:00","modified_gmt":"2018-02-22T11:33:00","slug":"two-dmjx-students-selected-for-the-lumix-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/index.php\/2018\/02\/22\/two-dmjx-students-selected-for-the-lumix-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Two DMJX students selected for the Lumix Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/fotofestival-hannover.de\/en\/programm\/exhibitions.html\" target=\"_blank\">60 still pictures stories<\/a> to be exhibited at this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/fotofestival-hannover.de\/en.html\">Lumix Festival<\/a> were announced yesterday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"1040\" src=\"http:\/\/photo-dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/Hasemann_lumix.jpg\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" width=\"890\" \/><em>Picture from Ulrik Hasemann&#8217;s project &#8220;Coastland&#8221;, <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>which will be exhibited at this year&#8217;s Lumix Festival.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Two DMJX students were selected among the 1000 stories, which were submitted for the festival:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hasemannphotos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8211; Ulrik Hasemann<\/a> will be showing &#8220;Coastland&#8221; &#8211; his final BA project, which he made together with Mathias Svold in the spring 2017. Ulrik Hasemann graduated from DMJX in June 2017.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; International student Hashem Shakeri will be showing &#8220;Iran &#8211; Multi Piece Identity&#8221;. A project made in Hashem&#8217;s home country Iran and part of the port folio, which admitted him to our Photo I programme where he studies right now.<\/p>\n<p>Two other Danish photographers and former DMJX-students have also been selected for the Lumix Festival:<\/p>\n<p>L&aelig;rke Posselt will exhibit &#8220;The Queer Proejct&#8221; and Marie Hald will exhibit her project &#8220;The Grils from Malawa&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The multimedia stories, which will be screened at the festival, will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p>The Lumix Festival runs from the 20th till 24th of June in Hannover.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 60 still pictures stories to be exhibited at this year&#8217;s Lumix Festival were announced yesterday.
