The lectures were given by photographers like Rehab Eldalil, Thomas Borberg, James Nachtway, Anush Babajanyan and Jerome Sessini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1125\" src=\"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/James-Nachtway_Canon.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5447\"\/><figcaption><em>James Nachtway giving an online lecture during the Canon Student Development Programme. Photo: Marius Christensen<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Port folio reviews were made by editors from, for instance Polka Magazine, The Guardian, Nat-Geo, Fisheye le mag and AFP. <br>Paolo Verzone and his two assistants gave a one-day flash-light workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1125\" height=\"1500\" src=\"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/301561595_1536298266791291_9217649072576192068_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5448\"\/><figcaption><em>The three DMJX students having a pool-break during the workshops days in Girona.<br>From left: Marius Christensen, Mohamed Mahdy and Valdemar Stroe Ren.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canon Student Development Programme offers a three step educational programme for students from The Middle East, Africa and Europe. <br><br>First step was one-to-one port folio talks to 100 selected students. <br>For the second step 30 of the 100 were invited to a 5-day workshop.<br>Finally, five students will be granted an exclusive place at the second edition of the Hamburg Portfolio Review from 16 to 18 September 2022. These five winners will also receive a 6-month mentorship, up to \u20ac9K worth of Canon kit and a \u20ac2K grant.<br><br>The five final winners will be announced this week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Second round of The Canon Student Development Programme was held last week in Girona, Spain, where 30 students were invited for a 5-day workshop.
