In his talk at DMJX, he showed images and talked about his work from El Salvador made for <em>Time<\/em> between 1981\u20131984. <br>in that period, The United States sought to prop up El Salvador&#8217;s right-wing military government as a backstop against home-grown insurgents and rising Soviet and Cuban influence.
