The nominees<\/a> for the Danish Picture of the Year 2024 have been announced. Among the total of 35 nominees are 11 DMJX students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost one third of the nominees at this year’s Danish Picture of the Year are DMJX students. The 11 DMJX nominees are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria H\u00f8y Hansen<\/strong>, graduating this January 2025
Martin Thomas Ford<\/strong>, graduating this spring 2025
Miles Lilley<\/strong>, currently interning at Jyllands-Posten
Rebecca Krogh<\/strong>, 4th term this spring 2025
Signe Bech S\u00f8holt<\/strong>, 4th term this spring 2025
Signe L\u00e6gsgaard<\/strong>, currently interning at Politiken
Nichlas Pollier<\/strong>, graduating this spring 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2723 images and 54 videos by 151 different photographers were submitted for the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Danish Picture of the Year is organized by\u00a0Pressefotografforbundet<\/a>\u00a0(The Danish Press Photographers\u2019 Association) and this year’s winners will be announced at the award ceremony on March 7 at The Royal Library in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, seven DMJX students<\/a> won prizes at the Danish POY 2023 and Christian Falck Wolff won<\/a> the Danish Picture of the Year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
