It is the first time ever, a DMJX video documentary wins at the prestigious competition.<br>The two DMJX students and their documentary were in good company, since the other finalist was &#8220;Palestinians in the West Bank Are Living in the Shadow of the War in Gaza&#8221; made by The New York Times. The winning story was &#8220;Cookie &amp; Zo\u2019e&#8221; made by ProPublica.<br><br>Rhiannon Johnston and Katja Hasen\u00f6hrl made the story during a DMJX video documentary workshop conducted by teacher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tobiasstidsen.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tobias Stidsen<\/a> at Photo 1 in the fall 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1125\" height=\"1500\" src=\"https:\/\/photo.dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/behind_the_scenes_05_lille.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7391\"\/><figcaption><em>Katja Hasen\u00f6hrl filming for the video documentary &#8220;Home in the Heather&#8221; that tells the story about Berit and her 800 sheeps.
