Bush.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Anders Birch was back at DMJX to give the welcome lecture for all our photojournalist students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the lecture Anders Birch took the students through his development from a still photographer to a documentary filmmaker.<\/p>\n<p>He talked about the differences and similarities between the two media and showed a lot of examples of his documentaries &#8211; for example his most popular film, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iCi2ZlBi30U\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Denmark on the Prairie&#8221; <\/a>originally made for and screened on Danish DR2.<\/p>\n<p>Among other things Anders Birch also showed the self portrait movie, which he made as a part of his application for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newschool.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">the New School<\/a> in New York, where he has studied film documentary.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"567\" src=\"http:\/\/photo-dmjx.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/AndersBirch.jpg\" width=\"567\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Anders Birch talking to some students after his lecture today at DMJX.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seven years ago Anders Birch graduated his BA at DMJX with his story &#8220;Hometown&#8221;&nbsp;about Midland, Texas &#8211; the hometown of former US president George W.
