Newhouse School<\/a> and  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexiafoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Alexia Foundation<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">More than 40 photojournalistic schools from all over the world participate in the projects, which pourpose it is to make a powerful statement  about life on the planet, in the context of family life today, not  unlike <em>The Family of Man<\/em> did 60 years ago.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">The students at the different schools produce a body of work about family &#8211; the enterpretation of the theme is broad. The goal is  to engage the subject and connect schools around the world, not dictate  how or what kind of work is produced. Documentary, portraiture, still or  motion pieces are all welcome.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">At DMJX we&#8217;ve decided that both web-documentary classes will work within this topic. This means that 8 Danish third term students and ten international Photo1 students will participate in the project together with Poul Madsen and Henrik Kastenskov from Bombay Flying Club, who will conduct these workshops.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">But it is also possible for other photojournalistic students from DMJX to participate. If you&#8217;re working on any story within the family topic, you can submit your work to your teachers, who consider sharing it for the Global Family Project.<br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">All work for the project must be produced between August and early December of 2014.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.0px;\">T<\/span>he Newhouse School\/<span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\">Alexia Foundation<\/span> Global Family  project co-operates with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photoshelter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Photoshelter<\/a> for uploading images and <span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pdnonline.com\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Photo District News (PDNonline)<\/a><\/span><span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\"> for publishing<\/span><span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\"> the work.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\"><span style=\"border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">The particpating photographers keep their copyright on all work.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The photojournalist students at DMJX have been invited to participate in a global project arranged and sponsored by Syracuse University&rsquo;s S.I.
