At the graduation ceremony for the new photojournalists and journalists Jonathan Bjerg Møller was awarded the Scanpix prize for best BA project. The project called Megacity is about Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, which is experienceing a huge growth in population. »

Earlier we’ve written that four students have been nominated for the Freelens Award at the Lumix Festival Hannover. Now four more students have been nominated in the multimedia categori at the same festival. This year we have received 213 applications for the Danish BA-programme. This is 10 per cent more than last year and the highest number of applicants ever. Within the next month we’ll conduct the application process and finally select the 16 students for the new classes of photojournalism. Good luck »
Europa-huset, which is the European Union’s information office in Copenhagen, exhibits photos until April 16. The theme of the exhibition is fighting poverty. Marcus Bleasdale, who will be teaching at the Advanced Visual Story Telling class next week, has agreed on giving a lecture while he’s visiting the school. The lecture will be held Monday the 22nd of March at 3pm in room 100. All students of photojournalism are welcome. »
