Last week our international students finished a three week web-documentary workshop conducted by Henrik Kastenskov and Poul Madsen from Bombay Flying Club. This fall Mads has been a member of the jury at the two international competitions at Vilnius Photo Circle at the 7th International Press Photo Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania – the main competition The Circle of Life and the Homework competition for young photographers under the age of 30. This weekend the CPOY jury has judged the multimedia categories and for the first time DMJX students have won in this division of the competition. The second day of the CPOY judging brought more good news to DMJX. Sofia Busk won gold in the International Picture Story category with her story Black Birds about a witch doctor in Tanzania.
