Trip to Copenhagen Photo Festival

The Photo II class visited Copenhagen Photo Festival this weekend.

The Photo II students at Copenhagen Photo Festival Friday the 4th of June.
The Photo II class consists of 8 international students and 2 Danish students.

Recent DMJX graduate Nanna Navntoft showed her project BED, which is part of the FUTURES Nordice Talents, that is exhibited at the Copenhagen Photo Festival.

The students experienced cameraless photography together with Stig Marlon Weston, who is one of the solo artists to exhibit at the festival.
Through the use of analog photo paper and home made chemicals the students created images and develop photos outdoors.

Another DMJX alumni, Hashem Shakeri, has a solo exhibition showing his project “Cast out of Heaven” at the Copenhagen Photo Festival.

Exhibiting photographer Cemre Yeşil Gönenli gave the students a talk about her solo exhibition “Hayal & Hakikat (Dream & Fact)” and talked about her three book projects.
