“May I have this Dance?” is the story about the social change in Iran on the basis of a subculture in which dance is elementary to life. The dancers show a peaceful resistance to a patriarchal and fundamental society. The exhibition consisted of 17 images plus a book dummy. Photo: Shirin AbediAs a part of the exhibition, Shirin Abedi also displayed Reyhaneh’s (one of the dancers) ballet shoes, with which she has danced for 10 years. The video screen showed videos of a public show made by the dancers in 2018.
