“A Real Man” at Gender Museum Denmark

Andreas Haubjerg‘s BA-project “A Real Man” is currently exhibited at the Gender Museum Denmark in Aarhus.

The “A Real Man” exhibition consists of 15 portraits in images and sound of men, who have been victims of different kinds of domestic violence. Andreas Haubjerg made the stories as his final BA-project in the fall 2020. Photo from the exhibition: Andreas Haubjerg.

“A Real Man” is also exhibited outdoors in Aalborg until the 30th of January. The touring outdoor exhibition has been shown in the towns Copenhagen, Holstebro, Esbjerg, Randers and Slagelse. It will be shown in Odense and Guldborgsund, too.

Andreas Haubjerg won the Ritzau Scanpix Prize for best photojournalistic BA-project with “A Real Man”. He has also received the PX3 Prix de la Photograhie in the Portraiture/personality category for this portrait series.
