Sarah Hartvigsen Juncker and Louise Herrche Serup win the Kravling Award

Saturday June 4th, the Kravling Awards were announced at a prize ceremony at Bremen Theater in Copenhagen. Sarah Hartvigsen Juncker and Louise Herrche Serup won in the photo category with their BA-project “You still don’t know my name”.

“I have been in Denmark for six months. The first months I didn’t do sex work. But then I began. I can’t stay if I don’t work”. Portrait from Sarah and Louise’s project.
The two photographers also won first prize in Team Picture Story at CPOY, where you can see a broader selection of images from the project.

The Kravling Awards are created by the Danish media students themsleves and is meant to honor student projects within communication, photo, design og journalism.

Four DMJX projects were nominated for the award:

  • Kvanefjel by Valdemar Stroe Ren
  • Denmark’s Vaccination by Walther Bølge
  • A Real Man by Andreas Haubjerg
  • You still don’t know my name by Louise Herrche Serup og Sarah Hartvigsen Juncker)
