Therefore it hit hard, when the message the following day was that it too big a handful for the after school classes to have Zander in the class because of his disability. It can be difficult for Zander to get into sighted relations. But with his friends Gustav, Leona and Mathias who also live with visual impairment, there is a mutual understanding which has a created a strong bond.

This is the story of Danish pensioners who choose to settle permanently or part-time on the Costa del Sol coastline in Spain. It is an account of their everyday life in Spain and of life in Denmark they are leaving in an attempt to make life better. It is the story of the pursuit of the good life. Because what does the good life look like? Is it a static thing? And does life actually improve by being in an area with lots of sunlight?
