Friday, September 27, twenty DMJX students and teachers went on a field trip to Copenhagen to participate in lectures and see the World Press Photo exhibition.

Jacob Ehrbahn, staff photographer at Politiken, gave the first lecture of the day, in which he talked about his recent reportage about the drug problems in the Kensington quarter, Phillidelphia, USA. Jacob spent 11 days walking up and down the streets in the area in order to connect with the people living in the streets. During the lecture he talked about the challenges and ethical consideration making the story. Photo: Søren Pagter/DMJX

Maria talked about and showed examples from her daily assignments working mainly with video. Maria has worked on stage together with the actors as part of a play where her video filming was part of the story telling in the actual theater play. At the end of the lecture, Maria told that she is right now on leave in order to make a documentary about a ballet dancer. Photo: Søren Pagter/DMJX
