The magazine As Far / As Close is made by nine international photojournalism students during a six weeks workshop at DMJX.
During the first week, the students attended classes with teachers Gitte Luk and Søren Pagter, where the students among other things developed their story ideas. In the following three weeks, the students worked in the field on their stories under supervision of Søren Pagter. The final two weeks were spent together at DMJX writing the stories, editing the pictures and designing the magazine.
