Saturday, December 7, Photo 1 student Hassan Kamil arranged a one-day group exhibition and discussion at Cafe Mellemfolk to shed light on the current war in his home country Sudan.

The exhibition at Cafe Mellemfolk was curated by Hassan Kamil and consisted of nine stories by the Sudanese photographers Ammar Yassir, Awab Elmisbah, Israa Abd-Elmoniem, Razzaz Saif, Jood Ahmed, Mosab Abushama, Alaaeldin SafiElnour, Amar Abdallah and Hassan Kamil. Photo: Hassan Kamil

In addition to the exhibition, a political discussion was held to provide a platform for a deeper understanding of the situation in Sudan and encouraging meaningful dialogue about potential solutions. The one-day event with the group exhibition and discussion was organized by Isabel Bierschenk, Henry Blachman and Hassan Kamil and partly sponsored by Rød-Grøn Ungdom Aarhus and Café Mellemfolk .
