Two welcome lectures to start the spring 2025 term at DMJX

The 32 photojournalism students of the spring 2025 term met Monday, January 27 for a full day of Danish “hygge” and two welcome lectures by Meli Petersson Ellafi and Tobias Nicolai.

The welcome for all DMJX photojournalists started in the morning, Monday, January 27 with a mutual breakfast, where the students mingled and got to know about each other.
After breakfast, the Swedish photographer Meli Petersson Ellafi spoke about her long term work about Swedish youngsters living in the suburbs of Stockholm.
In the afternoon, after having had lunch together, DMJX alumnus Tobias Nicolai gave a talk about his personal projects and his daily work as a freelance photographer.
