Liv Latricia Habel‘s personal project “Echoes of Home” is part of the annual Spring Exhibition at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen.

“Through the documentation of physical spaces, “Echoes of Home” explore the diversity among the African diaspora in Denmark. As black individuals in a white society, we verify our presence a lot with our bodies. I want to challenge this way of portraying a group of people, and therefore reflect on our identity through spatial depictions”, states Liv Latricia Habel.

The Spring Exhibition at Kunsthal Charlottenborg is on display for the 168th time. 870 artists and artist groups have applied for admission to this year’s exhibition and 41 artists have been selected to exhibit. This year’s jury is the Danish-Swedish artist collective Coyote, who has chosen to work with the topics collections, unrealized projects, and the stage.
The exhibition opened on February 5 and runs until March 9, 2025.
