The 25 nominees for the 2025 Danish POY were announced this weekend and among them are six photojournalism students and one TV and Media Production student from DMJX.
The DMJX nominees are:
Cecilie Rolvung, photojournalism, graduating this January 2026
Dicte Marie Hostrup Sønnichsen, photojournalism, currently interning at Information
Lærke Berg-Pedersen, TV and Media Production, interning at Politiken
Rebecca Krogh, photojournalism, currently interning at Børsen
Vikki Søholm, photojournalism, currently interning at Information
Nichlas Pollier, photojournalism, graduating this January 2026
Nicolai West, photojournalism, graduating this January 2026
120 photographers have submitted 2197 pictures and 51 TV/video productions for this year’s competition.
The winners will be announced at the award ceremony at the National Library in Copenhagen on the 6th of March, 2026.
In the 2024 Danish CPOY competition, 11 DMJX students were nominated and they won four first prizes and five second prizes.
