Mohamed Mahdy back in Aarhus

During the past week, DMJX alumnus and World Press Photo winner Mohamed Mahdy has been back in Aarhus to present his book Here, the Doors Don’t Know Me and to give a talk to the current DMJX students.

On Friday, February 13, Galleri Image organized a book launch of Mohamed Mahdy’s book Here, The Doors Don’t Know Me together with a discussion about working on a collaborative book project.
Part of the book was made during Mahdy’s study at DMJX, and Søren Pagter has been a supervisor in the editorial process of making the book.
Mahdy received one the ECCA-DMJX awards in 2024 to support his work with an interactive website with the stories from the book.
