As part of the Aarhus Festival Week, DMJX Photo 1 students opened the exhibition Aarhus Portraits, Friday September 4, 2026 at the public library, Dokk1. All portraits were photographed in the streets of Aarhus the day before. The exhibition is open till Thursday, September 16.

From the morning Thursday, September 3, 2026, the Photo 1 students went to the streets of Aarhus to meet and portray the people, they met. During the day, the students selected and worked on their portraits together with teacher Mads Greve at an open classroom at Aarhus Public Library, Dokk1.
The selected portraits were printed over night by Benjamin Nørskov, Pigment printing. Friday, September 4, the students met at Dokk1 to make an exhibition with their portraits.
