Monday, January 26, all photojournalism students met for two lectures to kick off the 2026 spring term. The two lecturers were Maria Albrechtsen Mortensen, staff photographer at the Royal Danish Theatre and Aliona Kardash, World Press Winner and freelance photographer from Hamburg.
Maria Albrechtsen Mortensen gave the first lecture of the day, where she with lots of energy talked about how she used her photojournalistic skills to research, plan and co-operate for her assignments at the Royal Theatre. During the lecture she showed lots of examples of her work and in the second part of the talk, she showed sequences of the long-term documentary that she is working on.
