What a great week! Last week was hectic and inspiring with a lot of guests and lectures at the school.
Wednesday our own international student, Ahmed Hayman from Egypt, gave a lecture about his coverage of the events in Cairo in February. Since Ahmed has worked as a photojournalist both before and after the changes in Egypt, this lecture gave a great insight in the country and the working conditions for reporters in Egypt. Around 80 people attended this lecture.

Tuesday freelance photographers Martin Bubandt and Ditte Valente (also a representative from the Press photographers association) gave a lecture about life after school – how to start your own business. Students from 7th and 8th semester attended this meeting.
Monday Mimi Chakarowa gave a lecture about her prize winning project, The Price of Sex. Mimi will shows the documentary again today (Monday the 28th) at 3.30pm in the Big Auditorium. Mimi was also teaching our 2nd and 8th term students.
In the same week we’ve had Kent Klich, Marcus Bleasdale and Sigrid Nygaard teaching at different courses.
