Peter Helles who is currently working on his BA assignment has received a working scholarship from Danida. Together with journalist Mira Kellermann, he is going to Kenya to do a film with the working title: Susan and her magnificent Message Service.
Each year Danida hands out 10 scholarships of D.kr. 50.000, called Verdensbilledlegatet (World Picture Scholarship). The aim is to enable students to work on stories from third world countries and launch the stories in Denmark. It’s the tenth time this scholarship is handed out and other photojournalists have over the years received it.
