DSMJ at Copenhagen Photo Festival

Even though DSMJ doesn’t have it’s own student exhibition at the comming Copenhagen Photo Festival the school is represented at some of the exhibitions around the city:

Mette Frandsen is showing her prize winning BA project Sin City at Bryghuset in Photo City. Mette Frandsen graduated last year and won the Scanpix prize for best photojournalistic BA project in 2010.

Kristian Sæderup is showing his BA project Blackpool from 2009 at Ny Tap in Photo City.

Five former students are exhibiting together in Øksnehallen with the exhibtion called 5 x Personal Projects. The five students are Maria Fonfara, Mads Nissen, Jonathan Bjerg-Møller, Thomas Lekfeldt and Christian Holst. Maria Fonfara is showing her BA project about love and sexuality among elderly people from 2009. The project won the Sacnpix prize for best photojournalistic BA project in 2009.

Finally Mads Greve, teacher at DSMJ, is exhibiting a part of his new project Blind Date at Slottet in Photo City.
