These weeks we’re assessing the applicants for both the Danish BA-education and for the two international programmes. And once again we have had a record high number of highly qualified candidates.
273 candidates enrolled for the admission test for the Danish BA-education. 177 of them fulfilled the first one-week test and submitted a portrait and a series of four images within the theme “The New Times”.
A group of four people from the media business valued the work of the candidates and together we selected 49 applicants for the second admission test. This test will be held this Saturday, the 21st of April. Finally, we’ll choose 16 applicants to study at the Danish BA in photojournalism.
Almost 50 candidates applied for the two international programmes. Based on their port folios and motivations letters we selected 10 applicants to study at The Language of Photojournalism and 7 applicants to study at Advanced Visual Story Telling. They’ll all begin their study this August.
The level among this year’s applicants were very high and this made it a challenging and interesting task to select the future students.
