The fourth annd final day of the still picture division at the CPOY gave one more prize to a DMJX student.
Morten Germund won Award of Excellence in the Portfolio category. Yesterday, Morten Germund also won Bronze in the category: Domestic Picture Story. Morten Germund graduated in January 2013.
Robert is adopted. He is 18 years of age. If he wasn’t adopted he would properly be one out of 30.000 children in the U.S who is “Ageing out” in the foster care system every year. Left to themselves without support. There are 400.000 children in the foster care system. Picture by Morten Germund.
Again, the DMJX students made a fantastic result at the CPOY’s still picture categories: 12 prizes for eight different students. Two of the prizes were of Gold, two of Silver, three of Bronze and five Award of Excellence. Almost as good as last year’s wild succes, where DMJX students won 13 prizes – 7 of them were of gold.
Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all of you for participating.
The following days the CPOY jury will judge the multimedia categories.
