It has been a fantastic week for Mario Wezel. First he was shortlistet as finalist for the Sony Wolrd Photography Award. Then he won another preis:
Mario Wezel, Germany, is one of the five winners of the German Canon Prorfifoto Förderpreis for young talented photographers below 30 years of age.

Mario has won with his beautiful story One in Eight Hundred – a story about Emmy, who suffers from Down’s syndrome.
The preis consits of Canon equipmnet worth EUR 10,000 and the story will be published in the magazine Profifoto.
The story is made in the spring 2013 as Mario’s final diploma project.
