During the past weeks a lot of different news images from the current refugee crisis have been published and shared both in Denmark and abroad.
Especially three images have been debated here in Denmark:
– The picture of the three-year-old Turkish boy, Aylan, who died during his and his family’s escape – photographed by Nilufer Demir.
– The picture of a Danish man spitting at the refugees entering Denmark – photographed by Sigrid Nygaard, Information
– The image of a Danish policeman playing with a refugee girl on the middle of a Danish highway – photographed by two different photographers, Claus Fisker, Scanpix and Michael Drost-Hansen, freelance.
Søren Pagter has over the past weeks been commenting on these pictures in interviews for different media.
One of the interviews you can hear online at P1 – the national Danish radio. Here is an eight minute long interview about the two pictures from Denmark – it starts approximately 49 into the broadcast.
