Terje Abusdal wins the Leica Oskar Barnack Award

Terje Abusdal has won the Leica Oskar Barnack Award for his project Slash and Burn about the Forest Finns – farmers, who 400 years ago migrated from Finland to forrest area along the Norwegian and Swedish border.

Terje Abusdal began the project in the spring 2014 at DMJX, where the story was his final graduation project. Terje has continued to work on the project since.

With the Leica Oskar Barnack Award Terje Abusdal receives 25,000 Euros and a Leica M camera with a lens.
