The world famous Danish photojournalist Jan Grarup presented his giant book project “And then there was silence” at DMJX today.
All the photojournalist students were gathered in our TV-auditorium for the first mutual lecture in the autumn term.

“Our credibility is the last cornerstone in photojournalism”, Grarup said talking about ethics in photojournalism. Grarup shared his point of views and experiences with the students, for instance about how he gained the trust of the people he’s photographing. During his lecture Jan Grarup also talked honestly about his career and his challenges with PTSD.
The students also got a sneak peek of an up-coming documentary film about Jan Grarup.
