This weekend the festival Vilnius Photo Circle was held in the capital of Lithuania. Vilnius Photo Circle is organized by the Lithuanian Press Photographers’ Association.
As a part of the festival 10 projects were selected to be exhibited at Vilnius Photo Circle – just like they were nominated for the main prize of the festival.
One of the ten selected and nominated photographers was Heba Khamis and her project Banned Beauty, which she made as her final diploma project at DMJX in the fall 2016.

Our regular guest teacher, Henrik Kastenskov, also gave a lecture at the festival. During his lecture he talked about making video documentaries and showed four stories made at DMJX:
