DMJX students win half of the categories at the Danish POY

The winners of the Danish POY 2017 were announced at the award ceremony at the Royal Library in Copenhagen today.

16 DMJX students were nominated for this year’s POY and as the winners were announced it turned out to be an extremely successful day for DMJX and our students; 10 DMJX-students won first prizes in 6 of the 12 categories. The other 6 students became runner-up in various categories.

The winning DMJX students are:

Stine Tidsvilde, currently 7th term.

Open Category – for his final BA project made in the spring 2017.

Anne Bæk and Morten Lau-Nielsen, currently 5th term

Long TV/web story – for a video documentary made during their third term in the spring 2017.

The result shows that 3 final BA-projects received first prizes and 1 BA-project was a runner-up. It also shows that the level of video documentaries made during third semester is extremely high; once again a group of third term students win in one of the TV/web categories and another group became runner-up.
