Four DMJX prizes in the Multimedia Division at CPOY

The Multimedia Categories at College Photographer of the Year were judged over the weekend and there were DMJX winners in all four categories.

Group Story or Essay – Standalone
Laura Bisgaard Krogh, Olivia Loftlund and Marie Bentzon won Gold for their video documentary “A + C”.
The three students made the story during third term in the fall 2017 and they also won first prize at the Danish POY with the same story.

In this category international exchange student, Liz Moughon won an Award of Excellence together with Michael Swensen for the story “Crossraods”, which they made during their study at Ohio University.
Liz studied Photo II at DMJX in the fall 2017, but this specific project is made at Ohio University.

Short Documentary
Maria Albrechtsen Mortensen and Jens Hartmann Schmidt won Silver for their video documentary “The Last Elephant”.
The two students made the story during third term in the spring 2018.

Online Storytelling
Anders Rye Skjoldjensen and Rune Aarestrup Pedersen won Silver for their online story “That Which Still Stands” about the wildfires in California.
Anders and Rune made the story as their final BA-project in the fall 2017.

Individual Story or Essay – Standalone
Ida Guldbæk Arentsen won Award of Excellence for her story “The Girl Without Words”.
Ida made the story during her exchange study in Lebanon. She graduated her BA in photojournalism this spring 2018.
