Mads Greve writes about analogue photography

Associate professor and photographer Mads Greve has published an article on DMJX’s MediaJournal, where he writes about being Analogue in a Digital Area.

For his research article, Mads Greve has interviewed three DMJX alumni, who are using analogue photography as a part of their story telling. One of the interviewed photographers is Emil Ryge (image), who is working with a large format camera. Photo: Jacob Ehrbahn.

Mads Greve’s recent three books are all photographed with analogue cameras and in an interview about his research he says: “Analogue photography is more survivable than we firstly expected. If you follow the world of photojournalism, you can almost get the impression that analogue photography is making its way back into the driver’s seat”.
