Book release, exhibition and talks when Photo 2 visited Copenhagen

Friday the 27th of January, the small group of Photo 2 students went to Copenhagen to participate in Salih Basheer‘s book launch/exhibition and visited the daily Information, where they had talks with photographers Sigrid Nygaard and Anders Rye Skjoldjensen.

Picture editor and photographer Sigrid Nygaard introduced the students to the newspaper Information and its history. After this she showed her prize winning project, where she followed two Danish men in their quest to get a child with a donor mother. In the background of the picture is Information’s archive, where you can find every newspaper they’ve published since the paper was established in August 1943 under the Second World War.
