Welcome lectures for all photojournalism students admin11 months ago on news Firday, February 2 all photojournalism students gathered for a full day of lectures and social events. The students started the day with breakfast and small group meetings where they presented themsleves to each other. Photo: Søren Pagter/DMJX The first lecture was held by freelance photographer Cathrine Ertmann, who talked about her contribution to the the book “Kongerigets Stamsteder” – a huge book with reportages and interviews from traditional bars around Denmark. Cathrine has covered the nothern part of Denmark, where she also lives and works. During the lecture, she also talked about her freelance business. In the book the two photographers and the journalist have visited the countries bordering the western part of Russia. Just like they touched upon their daily life as staff photographer and freelancer. They explained how they balanced their pais work with the making of the book.
