Welcome lectures for all photojournalism students

Firday, February 2 all photojournalism students gathered for a full day of lectures and social events.

The first lecture was held by freelance photographer Cathrine Ertmann, who talked about her contribution to the the book “Kongerigets Stamsteder” – a huge book with reportages and interviews from traditional bars around Denmark. Cathrine has covered the nothern part of Denmark, where she also lives and works. During the lecture, she also talked about her freelance business. Photo: Søren Pagter/DMJX

In between the lectures, the students had time to discuss and get to know each other.

Anders Rye Skjoldjensen and Ólafur Steinar Gestsson talked about their book “No Mann’s Land” made in co-operation with journalist Frederik Tillitz. In the book the two photographers and the journalist have visited the countries bordering the western part of Russia.

Anders Rye Skjoldjensen and Ólafur Steinar Gestsson have worked together on many projects, which they also talked about.
