Rikke Kjær Kjeldsen and Liv Møller Kastrup‘s BA-project “Do You See What I See” is exhibited at Dokk1 in Aarhus until Thursday, April 24, 2025.

“Do You See What I See” portrays the moods or feelings of 11 different people while they were in the grip of psychosis. Rikke Kjær Kjeldsen and Liv Møller Kastrup won one of the ECCA-DMJX photojournalism Awards in 2024 and won first prize in the Open Category at the Danish POY 2022 with this project.
When they received the ECCA-DMJX photojournalism Award, jury member, Ilvy Njiokiktjien, VII Photo, stated:
“Liv M. Kastrup and Rikke Kjær Kjeldsen’s project shows the experiences of people who deal with psychosis. The project combines personal stories with visual representations of their altered realities. This approach helps viewers understand how psychosis affects a person’s identity and perception. I have not seen this story be told in this way before and I would love to see where this can go. The images of the exhibition look inspiring and I hope it can be brought to life”.
With the help from the ECCA-DMJX photojournalism Award and other funding, the two photographers can now open the first in a series of exhibitions showing the project.
The project was made as the two photographers’ final BA-project in the fall 2022. They both graduated in January 2023.
